Dear Flash Families,
 
Thank you all for the opportunity to be your Head Coach again this summer.  

Having this second season together ensures all Flash swimmers will benefit from our experience last year.  Changes have been made to further improve the program, and I thank you for being patient as we continue to work toward the best formula for coaching your children in the sport of swimming.  
 
Over my years of coaching, I have had the privilege of working with kids ranging from those in summer leagues to year-round programs; as well as kids of all ages starting with young 10 and under children, to high school and collegiate level athletes. Much of what my experience has taught me involves common lessons:  Parent involvement is crucial to success, and the example you set for your kids will help establish a positive environment for our team this and every season. It will be important for all parents to volunteer and support the coaching staff, and follow through with the commitment you have made to the Flash.  It is with this hope that we will create a clear channel of communication between the parents and coaches, and have the kind of program with both a successful dual meet and championship season. I look forward to having a memorable time with your kids, and creating a great environment where excellence is standard.
