Swimmer Top Times Directions: 1.) From Irvine Blvd., drive south to Sand Canyon and turn right (southbound)
2.) Drive southwest on Sand Canyon for a few miles - past the 5 Freeway and past the 405 Freeway (when you cross the 405 Freeway, Sand Canyon becomes Shady Canyon Drive). Continue on Sand Canyon/Shady Canyon for approximately ¼ mile past the 405 Freeway, and you will come immediately into a roundabout.
3.) Travel 3/4 of the way around the roundabout and exit onto Quail Hill Parkway heading south. Stay in the far right lane.
4.) Once on Quail Hill Parkway, you will come immediately to a stoplight - the street is Passage (to the left is the Quail Hill Shopping Center). Turn right on Passage and travel up the hill 1 block.
5.) Our pool, The Commons Pool, is adjacent to the Commons Park, which is on the left/south side of Passage. Turn left on the first street, Nightshade, for drop-offs. Parking: Parking may be challenging, and they have designated the nearby Quail Hill Community Park parking lot, as well as a section of Passage (and, if necessary, the Quail Hill Shopping Center) for extra parking - once drop-offs have been made. Please note, there are two other community pools in Quail Hill, Knollcrest and Valley View, not to be confused with the Commons Pool, where our meet will be held. |
